Thank you so much for the awesome tattoo, it was a great experience! I never dreamed I would be getting a matching tattoo with my 22 year old daughter that I just met less than 10 months ago.
I’ve obviously always known about my daughter Lindsey, but since she was put up for adoption at birth 22 years ago, I knew absolutely nothing about her. I was finally able to make contact with her when she turned 18 and communicated with her through the adoption agency for over 3 years before I was ever allowed to know where she lived, or even what her name was. She decided she was ready meet me and my family when she turned 21, it has been an absolute amazing experience. Her adoptive parents have been very open about me getting to know her and have been very supportive of the entire process.
Lindsey and I have gotten to know each other better over the last few months and have spent several weekends together, along with my wife and Lindsey’s brother and sister that she had never met. One of the gifts that I got for Lindsey was a pendant of the Adoption Triangle of Love (a triangle with a heart through it) the triangle represents the three sides of adoption, the birth parents, adoptive parents and the child, of course we all know what the heart is for. I love the pendant and what it stands for, but it is a very feminine looking piece and definitely was not made for me to wear. As you know I wanted to show my gratitude to Lindsey’s adoptive parents and the adoption process. I also wanted to show Lindsey my commitment to her by getting the Adoption Triangle tattooed on my arm, but it definitely need to personalized for me.
I wanted to thank you for such a fantastic design and for all the time and effort you put into making this such a personal and one of a kind piece for me. This was my very first tattoo and I don’t think I could have picked a better person for the job.
