My name is Carmie.  I was born and raised in Washington State, but have lived in Missouri for about 11 years.  I got my first tattoo the summer of 1985; I paid $20 to get a small rose on my leg while sitting on the hood of my car at Peoples Park in Spokane, WA. (Lol..I know!). My best friend at the time got her first tattoo on her ankle that same day. I have dabbled in tattooing over the years, but never had  the opportunity to tattoo as a licensed professional until after apprenticing with Gary at Goldenlands Tattoos in St. Louis, MO where I have been working since 2006. Thank You Gary! 

My mother is an extremely talented artist/painter. She encouraged my brothers and I to draw from a very young age.  Drawing has been a part of my life since I can remember. Thank You Mom!  Whether tattooing, drawing, attempting to paint or sculpt something, I get totally into what I am doing and lose all sense of time.  I have never had any formal art training, so am hoping to some day take a few art/paining classes..... (I would really like to learn more about oil, acrylic& water color painting.) My goal right now though is keep improving as a Tattooer; it is an ongoing learning experience!
